The hiking options around here are literally limitless. Luče is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. Nestled in the heart of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, the area offers a variety of trails that cater to both beginners and seasoned hikers. Luče is a short driving distance from Velika Planina and Logarska Dolina - phenomenal hiking areas that offer even more diverse terrain, epic views, and unique natural experiences.
Staying
Luče definitely provides space for low-key, non athletic ways of recharging too. The village itself is a charming blend of traditional Slovenian architecture and modern amenities. Key landmarks include the Church of St. Lawrence dating back to the 13th century. A pleasant pathway along the Savinja invites for a lazy stroll with benches scattered along bagging to be sat at.
Two River House provides quiet and cozy spaces to enjoy as well: reading by the open-hearth fire place downstairs, sipping morning coffee on the balcony upstairs, or enjoying our garden nook overlooking the Lučnica river.

Skiing
There are a number of options if you're interested in Alpine/Downhill skiing or cross country skiing.
The nearest ski resort is Golte you can drive from Two River House to the top of Golta Resort and park in under 45 minutes, or take the gondola from Radegunda just 30 min away.
Rogla is another nearby Ski area
If the snow is good there is even a little bunny hill in Luče, and Cross Country skiing in nearby Logarska Dolina and Velika planina .
Eating
Luče has the basics covered: there are several cafes around, and a delightful restaurant Pri Lampi offering wonderful meals - especially the traditional must-give-it-a-try žlinkrofi. It also serves Staropramen on tap through the summer months ;)
There is a small bakery just around the corner from Two River House open till 9am all mornings except on Sundays.

Luče has a smaller grocery store on the main street selling all necessary basics - from foods, drinks, to home, bathroom and gardening items. The closest Hoffer and other stores, as well as more restaurants, are in a near by town Mozirje (25 min drive).
